The 2nd championship is expected to attract more than 200 golfers from 20 countries who share the love of the game and the thirst for fun. The biggest of all such golf events features 72-holes of stableford competition, lots of gifts and prizes, plus nightly parties and entertainment. International acts will be a highlight at the welcome and farewell celebrations. At the heart of the event’s success is the camaraderie developed among participants. This is where lifelong friendships are forged. Whether you come on your own or with a party of friends, just don’t miss it!

The Vietnam World Masters Golf Championship brings together golfers and non-playing partners for the ultimate event and holiday experience. The event is open to male and female golfers aged 35 plus and competition is played in divisions based on age and golf handicap. This event is Vietnam’s richest amateur tournament with US $10,000 in prizes to be won.

Central is home to three of Vietnam’s best golf courses, top resorts, three World Heritage Sites, and one of the world’s 10 best beaches. Therefore, it is no surprise then that some refer to this area as the Golf Coast Vietnam. Danang was awarded Golf Destination of the Year by the International Associational of Golf Tour Operators (IAGTO) and the Greg Norman-designed Danang Golf Club was one of only four courses in Asia to receive the coveted Diamond Award. Not bad for a destination that didn’t have any golf courses just six years ago.

The Accor Vietnam World Masters Golf Championship is a joint initiative between Australian based Go Golfing, hosts of the world’s biggest tournaments for club golfers, and Golfasian, Asia’s largest inbound golf tour operator.

More than 16,000 club golfers from 28 countries have participated in past World Masters tournaments. Fundamental to the success of past World Masters tournaments is finding world class tourism destinations with premier golf courses, well priced luxury accommodation and a variety of cultural and tourism experiences that appeal to golfers and non-playing partners.
