FLC Group Joint Stock Company is a new company in the field of real estates. However, thanks to its experienced management board, the company is step by step establishing its reputation and “FLC” trademark on the market. In 2014, they built the VND 5.5 trillion FLC Samson Beach & Golf Resort which is the largest golf course – resort – hotel complex in the central region of Vietnam. Following that success, FLC is constructing their second complex of golf-resort in central province of Binh Dinh.
On an area of nearly 300 ha in Quy Nhon city, adjacent to Eo Gio (Windy Strait) where is said to be the best place to see the sunrise in Vietnam, the project, with total investment of VND 3.5 trillion ($162 million) boasts the Vietnam’s first seven-star beach villa cluster, luxury resorts, golf course, hotels, five-star restaurants, as well as a 1,500 seat-international convention center, a lavish entertainment area and other facilities.
The golf course is designed and constructed by Nicklaus Design – the company who has built over 400 golf courses across the globe and Flagstick – the world’s leader in golf course construction management, with a portfolio of over 90 golf course construction projects. The seven-star beach villa cluster, resorts, hotel are developed by Serenity Holding – the Vietnam-based young dynamic international hospitality management and development company that specialises in developing hotels, resorts and residences with two well-known brands: Fusion và À La Carte.
The golf course is expected to open in early 2016 as construction has been accelerated. About 1,000 professionals, engineers, and workers are on the job day and night to complete the project, according to Chairman of FLC Trinh Van Quyet.
This is the second golf course that FLC has built in Vietnam, construction at the FLC Quy Nhon is proceeding really faster than at FLC Samson Beach & Golf Resort in Sam Son town in the north-central province of Thanh Hoa due to favorable construction conditions.
The Chairman of the Binh Dinh People’s Committee said that FLC has been the largest investor in Binh Dinh to date. The provincial government considers the Nhon Ly complex a key project in local economic restructuring and investment attraction efforts. To maximize the effectiveness of the project, Binh Dinh province will invest more in infrastructure including an expressway that links Phu Cat Airport to FLC Quy Nhon. After completion, the expressway will short the duration time from the airport to the golf course down to 12 minutes.
