In former times, “Golf” was a very strange sport to most of Vietnamese, but now, Golf has became more and more favorable. Considered as a growing market, there are numerous championship golf courses designed by most-talented golfers as Nick Faldo, Greg Norman,… launched across Vietnam.
We would like to make a list of all golf courses in Central Vietnam (up to now) to provide you some ideas where to play golf in this amazing part of Vietnam.
1. Dalat Palace Golf Club

Being in the heart of hustle and peaceful “The City of Eternal Spring” – Dalat, Da Lat Palace Golf Club carries with it a long sad story abound The Last King of Nguyen Dynasty – Bao Dai Nguyen. Another option for mesmerizing golfing experience in highland area is The Dalat At 1200 in Da Ron valley, Da Lat. It is only 10km away from Da Lat Airport – just over 20 minute driving using car/ferry. The Dalat At 1200 is stretch out on a area of 1,000 on hilly area, majestically looking down a natural lake downhill and having all year round cool fresh air. However, due to constant low humidity, golfers are advised not to start playing early in the morning before the sunrise at around 9 or 10AM.

4. Ba Na Hills Golf Club

Being the very first golf course design of the top golfer Luke Donald, Ba Na Hills Golf Club is invested and managed by IMG Group and SunGroup Corporation. Although it is newly opened, the course has been widely acclaimed and even received the “World’s Best New Golf Course” title at the “World Golf Award 2016”. Nestled in the foothills of the Ba Na Mountain range, this course is the toughest challenge in the area measuring 165ha (7858 yards) with many elevation variety and challenging bunkers as well as jungle willing to swallow errant shot.
5. BRG Da Nang Golf Resort

This is another design of the legendary Greg Norman – who continuously ranked 1 during 1980s to 1990s. A good scoring requires thoughtful yet skillful shots to help ball move on the undulating greens. The strong coastal headwind here is another factor golfers have to consider here that can toughen up the course significantly.
6. Sea Links Golf & Country Club

Designed by Ronald Fream’s team of Golf Plan – the architecture company has operated in more than 75 countries around the globe, Sea Links Golf & Country Club is a very stand out golf course in Phan Thiet.
Sea Links Golf & Country Club is built on an area of 160 hectares and just a few minutes from Full Moon Beach since there are many amazing views from the sea below: constant waves, surfing and forget-all-about-that-badass people will definitely feel like you are in heaven.
7. Vinpearl Golf Nha Trang

8. Diamond Bay Golf & Villas

Equally located in the main road travelling from the wildly famous Cam Ranh Bay and unique Nha Trang Beach City, Diamond Bay Golf & Villas is a truly wonderful golf club in South Central of Viet Nam and Asia also. 400km Northwest from Ho Chi Minh City, it may takes golfer around 9 hours to get there using ferry or only over 60 minutes travelling by plane.
Designed by Andy Dye from Andy Golf Design in The Philippines, who once describe Diamond Bay Golf & Villas as “one in a million golf course throughout the world”. This course is in the spacious area of 76 hectares with 18 holes which started open since 2011. The par-3 hole 12 is named signature of this course and has the funny nickname as “smiling hole” as it is built over the sea and resemble a smiling face.
7. KN Golf Links

8.Vinpearl Golf Nam Hoi An

Located 17 km south of Hoi An, Vinpearl Golf Nam Hoi An is 18 holes Par 72 golf course with 7125 yards designed by IMG Worldwide is part of a 200-hectare resort development that includes a 5-star beachside hotel, tropical villas, water park, theme park and agricultural center.
There is a wide variety of golf holes, with a pleasant mix of long and short Par 3’s, Par 4’s and Par 5’s, including two drivable Par 4 holes, one on each Nine. A links style course along with features of white sand bunkers. The large fairways have plenty of width so golfers of all skill levels will enjoy their round of golf and gently rolling greens will be interesting but not overly challenging for putting internationally and domestically.
9. FLC Quy Nhon Golf Links

FLC Quy Nhon Golf Links Ideally located on to the South Central of the dreamy beach of Quy Nhon, Binh Dinh. This golf course lies in the total area of 1,300 hectares with the total investment up to 7,000 billion VND, including many 5-star resort and hotels. Especially, FLC Luxury Hotel Quy Nhon which locates 1km along the coast once nominated as “The Most Unique Design & Decoration Hotel of Viet Nam” in 2016 by Property Report Magazines.
10. Cua Lo Golf Resort

IMG indeed deserves the title of “Best Golf Course Designer Worldwide” as this company has accomplished many works in Viet Nam but there is no similarity or disguise among them. This golf course is over the area of 133 hectares, 18 holes and 72-par standard. It nestles along the coastal side and next to the main road in Cua Lo – Binh Minh Road makes traveling more convenient as golfers have no chance of finding the wrong road. Moreover, as this place offer the panoramic view to see, you can just walking slowly down the street, enjoy sunset and scent of normal life in this land.
11. Laguna Lang Co Golf Club

Laguna Lang Co Golf Club is one of the three golf links belongs to Banyan Tree – the world leader in hotel and leisure industry, mainly focus in the international market. Designed by Sir Nicholas Alexander Faldo, this course is considered as the most stunning one from his collection of 26 course site design collection.
This 18-hole, 71-par stretch out a total area of nearly 7,000 yards. The course is not designated for golf-beginners but seasoned professionals as there are constant weaving between trees, impressive tough rock feature, natural streams, etc. as described as a blowout area by the designer himself.
12. Montgomerie Links Vietnam

Designed by the top talented golfer and designer, Colin Montgomerie, who won “Tour Order of Merit” eight times. It is constructed after a coastal course site and be the first one built along the Central Coast site. Although it was open no later than the end of 2009, it Montgomerie Links gains the title of “The Best Golf Course in Viet Nam” just under one year later. To the end of 2015, it, as expected, nominated as “The Best Golf Course in Asia” in Asia Pacific Summit 2015. Until now, it always listed as top ten golf course list in Asia.
