Conrad Algarve, Portugal, November 8th, 2015 was a great day for The Grand Ho Tram as its golf course – The Bluffs won the noble title of “2015 The World’s Best New Golf Course” award at the prestigious annual 2nd World Golf Awards Ceremony after defeating three other nominees: Lofoten Links – Norway, Palm Garden Golf Club – Malaysia, TPC at Baha Mar – Bahamas, Additionally, The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip scooped ‘Best Golf Course in Vietnam’ and ‘Best Golf Hotel in Vietnam,’ after seven month voting cycle.
The worldwide voting process begins on March 2nd 2015 and closes on September 27th 2015. Votes were made by professionals working within the golf travel and tourism industry – senior executives, travel buyers, tour operators, agents, media professionals as well as golf tourism consumers.

The first time Greg Norman visited The Bluffs in 2013, he said the site here is one of the two best that he’s ever worked with and it has the potential to be one of the top golf courses in the world. That comes true when his creation won three World awards just three weeks before the Asian Tour sanctioned Ho Tram Open 2015, Vietnam’s richest sports event.
Newly opened in 2013 with 541 five-star rooms, the Grand Ho Tram Hotel also enjoyed recognition at The World Golf Awards, securing its status in the golf world as ‘Vietnam’s Best Golf Hotel.’
With a second tower under construction and is expected to open in autumn 2016, which will add another 559 rooms, an award-winning casino, additional entertainment amenities, the Ho Tram Strip is gathering momentum as the major new force in golf and hospitality.
Greg Norman sent his congratulations via video at the ceremony. He said: “Over thousands of years Mother Nature has created these unbelievable sand dunes, so we made every effort to keep the natural beauty, integrity and character of the site.”
