Da Nang – The Vietnam’s Most Worth Living City

Da Nang – a port city which is located along the South Central Coast, is Vietnam’s third largest city and is the main commercial, tourism and educational center of Central Vietnam. Danang is also considered as the Vietnam’s most liveable city, due to its clean, exciting environment, natural diversity, friendly people and easy accessibility, etc.

The city is well known for its healthy, clean and safe environment. Unlike the crowded scene of bustling Saigon or Hanoi, Da Nang city streets are wide and very clean. At the 44th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meeting on energy in Washington DC, USA, Da Nang was recognised as one of the world’s 20 low-carbon cities.

In June 2015, Da Nang launched an education and communication program for environment and tourism. They educate local people to set a good example of tidiness as well as create a safe and tidy environment for touristic development. First they warn local residents, restaurant owners and tourists and then fine if they continue littering on the beach or street.

Da Nang is striving to reach the target of becoming an environmentally-friendly city, a “Singapore of Vietnam” by 2020.

According to the Financial Times, Da Nang has the best investment environment and infrastructure in Vietnam at the moment, even better than Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, the two biggest commercial center of Viet Nam. Being continuously in the nation’s top booming cities, Da Nang maintained its excellent security, without beggars, drug addicts and mostly no traffic congestions.

As a result, Da Nang is becoming a “hot destination” of domestic and foreign tourists in Vietnam.  There’re 3 UNESCO World Heritage Sites located within 100km from the city, including the Imperial City of Hue, the Hoi An Ancient Town and the My Son Sanctuary, Da Nang has long been considered a pleasant pass-through point for travelers traversing Vietnam’s heritage trail.
