On April 7th, the Opening Ceremony of Nicklaus Course took place at BRG Da Nang Golf Resort. This is the 2nd course, together with another one by Greg Norman will definitely bring a unique experience to Vietnamese and Asian golfers. It is the very first course in the region to be built in “bulkhead” style, which is using wooden walls to keep the putting green right beside to a water hazard. There is also a new light system, to help golfers to complete their rounds in the late afternoon or even evening.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Mark Reeves, Golf Division Director of BRG Group said: “Da Nang is a beautiful destination for golf and for a holiday. Now tourists, especially golfers, come here from all over the world to stay at our Sheraton Grand hotel, and play our golf courses. Here in Da Nang Nicklaus Design, our strategic partner, has helped us to create another beautiful golf course for the tourism market and I’m sure everybody will love to play it.”
BRG Đà Nẵng Golf Resort has the best quality services and premium leisure facilities such as luxury hotels, world-class restaurants, entertaining & convention complex. The opening of this unique course contribute to leveling up standards of the place, appealing more golfers to come, travel and experience.
“This is another challenging, world class course for BRG and Nicklaus. I am confident that it will be very popular with both domestic and international golfers and will help to develop golf tourism in Vietnam. It’s a masterpiece that we proudly add to our growing golf portfolio which includes the new Kings Course by Jack Nicklaus II that we opened last month in Hanoi. You are all invited to try!” concluded Mr. Reeves.
Conquering this new challenging terrain, enjoying the view of white sand, seashore and wooden bulkhead edges, how wonderful it is?
