Flc Samson Golf 2015: Vietnam’s Premier Golf Championship

From November 14^th -16^th, 2015 at FLC Samson Beach & Golf Resort, Sam Son Town, Thanh Hoa Province. FLC Group associated with Thanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Vietnam Golf Association to organize the FLC Golf Championship 2015.

Three days of competition successfully finished and left a great impression on all golfers and guests with attractive competitions as well as the high quality of customer service and the design of FLC Sam Son Golf Club. Many awards were given to the winners, particularly the Eagle Prize was awarded to golfer Pham Minh Sang at hole #4 on the first day of the championship. Unfortunately, no golfer could get the the hole-in-one prize which was put at 4 holes.

This is the annual golf championship that is taken place at FLC Samson Golf Links. This is a Jack Nicklaus-designed course with the highest quality, most challenging, bring to golfers the unique experience. FLC Samson Golf Links is a rare position which has the potential to build a unique golf links form, where the interface between seaport and Ma River, near Sam Son beach resorts. Due to its unique location, winds play a major factor in scoring well, the wind blows strongly from two directions, especially, the beach morning glory makes troubles to most of golfers.

Many of participants said FLC Golf Links is a very tough course, partly because they were not familiar to the course, the constantly-changing wind and the warp-speed greens make it extremely difficult to read the line.

There were more than 800 golfers attended the championship and played 18 holes of golf based on their handicaps. The total prize money for the FLC Golf Championship 2015 is about 60 bilion dongs makes it the biggest golf championship ever held about the number of participating players and the total prize.

13 luxury Mercedes, Hyundai cars, 2 villas at FLC Resort and 2 swimming pools (worth 50,000 USD) are the prizes for Hole in One at hole #3, #7, #11, #16 and 14 Eagle prizes to challenge players’ skills and luck. Many golfers said this is the first time, they have attended a championship with so many prizes like at FLC Samson Golf Championship.

To win the Hole in One or Eagle Prizes at this championship is very hard, the design here is very different from other golf courses makes it a real challenge for players.

After three days of competition, there was only golfer Pham Minh Sang win the Eagle prize with a $8,000-package tour at FLC Samson Beach & Golf Resort and 3-year membership card that worths 3,000USD.
