The Level 23 Wine Bar is one of the highest rooftop bars in Saigon. Back in the ‘60s, the Caravelle Hotel was the tallest building in Saigon, since 1959, it has been Ho Chi Minh City’s landmark 5-star address in the heart of the business, shopping and entertainment district. This famous hotel was a meeting point for American journalists and army officials during Vietnam War. The charming, breezy spot right in the middle of the city often has live music and is well worth a visit, whether you’re a history buff or not.
The Alto Heli Bar at The Bitexco Financial Tower

Bitexco Financial Tower is the tallest skyscraper in Saigon and its bar on the 52nd floor has the best views in all of Saigon. It is not a real rooftop but the huge floor to ceiling windows boast spectacular views of the city. It’s pricey due to its unique location, but Alto Heli Bar is a great place for a high altitude cocktail – you quite literally feel like you are on top of the world.

Set on the riverside, this is not the high rooftop bar but it has a lovely outdoor terrace with spectacular views of Saigon river. The bar offers a completely different experience – the river views, rather than an urban setting, is a lovely contrast to the other bars in the list.
