Ba Na is located at the elevation of nearly 1,500 meters above sea level in the Truong Son mountain range. It is far about 50 kilometers from the central city to the West.
Ba Na was built in 1920s as a resting place for the French and wealthy Vietnamese, it once boasted over 200 villas, restaurants and clubs. After the war, most of the villas were destroyed. Da Nang has recently restored and remodeled some ancient French villas, Buddhistical cultural area, hotels, bars…
Due to its perfect location, Ba Na is widely known as Da Lat/ Sapa of Central. Its year-round nice weather (the average temperature in the summer is about 18oC), unspoiled forest, and spectacular views over the East Sea and the Lao mountain range make Ba Na an ideal eco – tourism for people in the Central of Vietnam.

Coming to Ba Na, tourists will be travelled by cable car. Ba Na cable cars were built base on standard of Austria technology. With the total investment capital of VND$ 300 billion, it can serve 1.5000 guests per hour and it just take about 15 minutes to go from the foot of Ba Na mountain to the Ba Na eco-tourism.
Opened to the public in March of 2009, the Ba Na Hills Cable Car has received four Guinness World Records, including longest single-wire cable car system ( (5,042.52 metres) and the telpher with the highest gap between the lowest and the highest stations (1,291.81m).
